This month, we hit some good ‘ol fashioned strength training in the form of 5’s. Look to pick a challenging weight for your first few weeks and ramp it up for week 4. Big lifts deserve big weights.
For your accessories, pay attention to your tempos as they match the theme of 5’s. Move ‘em well and move ‘em slow (or pause, it depends on the day). As usual, form comes first. Pick weights that leave 1-2 reps in the tank but don’t be afraid to push a little on your final week. Ensure proper spotting or use pins/straps for support if alone.
